We offer a variety of ways to give, whether you are making a one-off donation or wish to set up a regular gift to our work. You can choose a method from the list below that suits you best.
If you are a UK taxpayer, HMRC will add 25% to your gift – at no extra cost to you - so be sure to tick 'Yes' to gift aid if you give by card and/or complete a Gift Aid form to tell us you would like us to claim that extra 25% on your gifts.
Giving by debit/credit card or PayPal
Give through the Big Give this week (3rd - 10th December 2024) to have your donation DOUBLED in the Christmas Challenge.
Or visit our donate page to give a one-off gift by card or PayPal.
Bank transfer or cheque
If you want to avoid card charges being deducted from your one-off donation, you can make a bank transfer to the Cooperative Bank sort code 08-92-99, a/c 67373482, IBAN GB44CPBK08929967373482 or make a cheque payable to AIDS Care Education and Training and post to acet UK, Abbey House, Abbey Green, Chester, CH1 2JH.
Standing order
We rely on the gifts from our supporters – acet UK’s work just wouldn’t be possible without people like you. We need steady sources of income to support our current programmes and develop new projects. Making a regular monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annual gift would help us plan more confidently. If you are in a position to become a regular giver, please print and complete our standing order form and send it to acet UK, Abbey House, Abbey Green, Chester, CH1 2JH and we will do the rest.
Alternatively, please email us and we can post a standing order form to you, along with a Freepost envelope to return the form to us.
Direct Debit
If you prefer direct debit for your regular giving, please complete an instruction through CAF Donate.
Through your CAF, Stewardship or Benevity account
We are registered as AIDS Care Education and Training with CAF and acet UK with Stewardship, so some of our donors give one-off gifts or regular donations through these channels.
We are also registered with Benevity as AIDS Care Education and Training, allowing employers to support their employees' giving including matching donations.
Give As You Earn
If you want to give to acet UK on a regular basis, CAF payroll giving is another great option. Your donation is taken from your pre-tax salary, so that part of your donation comes from money that would have otherwise gone to HMRC as income tax.
So for a £20 gift:
As a 20% taxpayer:
- From your salary, you give £16
- Donation from a reduction in your tax £4
- Total donated to acet UK £20
As a 40% taxpayer:
- From your salary, you give £12
- Donation from a reduction in your tax £8
- Total donated to acet UK £20
