Hand in hand with safeguarding measures, Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is so important in helping keep children safe from abuse.

1. INTERPRETATION

1.1 The definitions and rules of interpretation in this clause apply in this Agreement:

Our accredited course covers a range of topics which are split across the 6 sessions as below.

When we run the course in person, the topics are covered over 4 longer sessions, so the order of the course will differ slightly.

Session 1:

• An introduction to relationships and sex education (RSE) and related legislation
• Child development and puberty
• Body image and the influences and pressures on young people from the media

Session 2:

“It is literally impossible to be a woman” – Gloria, the Barbie movie

This quote in a monologue from the recent hit Barbie movie is one that resonated with many people and sparked an ongoing conversation about societal expectations on women. 

While the film may have stirred debate, it’s fair to say it definitely explored the themes of what it means to be a woman today. Just like the characters in the movie, real-life women navigate a landscape filled with barriers and expectations.
